Beaumont Financial Partners Named to 2020 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisors

Beaumont receives this industry recognition for the fourth consecutive year

Needham, MA (July 30, 2020) – Beaumont Financial Partners, LLC (“Beaumont”) today announced that it has been named to the 2020 Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisors. The list recognizes top independent RIA firms from across the United States. Beaumont was selected as one of twelve firms in Massachusetts to appear on the list. Beaumont is a private wealth management firm headquartered in Greater Boston.

“We are honored to again be named to the prestigious Financial Times 300 list,” said Tom Cahill, Managing Partner of Beaumont. “Since our beginnings, we are proud of the relationships and partnerships we’ve built and being a part of this renowned group is proof that we are truly living up to the standards our clients have for us.”

This is Beaumont’s fourth consecutive year being recognized by The Financial Times, one of the world’s leading news organizations. This is the seventh edition of the FT 300 list, where RIA firms apply for consideration, having met a minimum set of criteria. Applicants were then graded on six factors: assets under management (AUM); AUM growth rate; years in existence; advanced industry credentials of the firm’s advisors; online accessibility; and compliance records. There are no fees or other considerations required of RIAs that apply for the FT 300.

The Financial Times does not rank companies within the group of 300, instead they collectively represent an impressive cohort of RIA firms recognized for their accomplishments. The median AUM of this year’s group is ~$1.9 billion.

Cahill continued, “Every day we strive to provide professional financial planning expertise and appropriate investment advice to help each client achieve their personal long-term goals. We are grateful for the recognition, but our true measure of achievement is our clients’ satisfaction and success.”

Beaumont Financial Partners, LLC is fee-based investment advisor that is located in Needham, Massachusetts and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). Founded in 1981 as Beaumont Trust Associates, the firm reorganized in 1999 into Beaumont Financial Partners. About The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisors
The Financial Times 300 Top Registered Investment Advisers is an independent listing produced annually by Ignites Research, a division of Money-Media, Inc., on behalf of the Financial Times (July 2020). The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas: assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and online accessibility. The top factors considered in the scoring were AUM which accounted for an average of ~72% or each adviser’s score, while their growth rate accounted for ~15%. A cap was placed on the number of advisers from any one state. RIAs registered with the SEC and more than $300m in AUM are eligible to apply. Out of over 2,000 qualifying firms invited to apply, over 750 firms applied for the award, 300 of which were selected (40%). This award does not evaluate the quality of services provided to clients and is not indicative of the practice’s future performance. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
