Michael P. Stack, CFA — Chief Investment Officer, Director Portfolio Management

Michael’s responsibilities include director of equity trading, domestic equity selection and analyst, and client relationship management.

Michael, a portfolio manager since 1987, earned both a Bachelor of Science in Finance (cum laude) and a Masters in Finance (summa cum laude) from Fairfield University. Mike has been a CFA charterholder since 1989. Mike began his business career at General Electric where he completed their highly selective financial training and development program. He moved into the investment management business in 1986 as an equity analyst and a portfolio manager. In 1991, Mike moved to John Hancock’s Independence Investment Associates where he managed $300 million in institutional assets. In 1997, he joined Putnam Investments as a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. While at Putnam, he co-directed their Capital Goods Knowledge Management Team and launched and/or co-managed their Voyager, Concentrated Core Large Cap, and Global Core mutual funds. In 2002, Mike moved to Babson Capital Management to co-manage over $3 billion in assets. While managing these funds, he unified and enhanced the value investment philosophy and process.

Brian Corcoran — Senior Portfolio Trader

Brian’s responsibilities include fixed income and equity trading excecution, oversight of operations & systems, technical analysis and portfolio modeling.  Brian serves as a member of the asset allocation committee.  

Brian, a native Bostonian, has been a member of the financial services industry since 1999.  Prior to joining Beaumont in 2011, Brian spent four years with a locally based hedge fund as the senior portfolio trader.  He was responsible for all aspects of trading, both domestic and global assets, as well as operations and portfolio rebalancing.  Prior to working in the hedge fund space, Brian spent six years as an institutional equity sales trader in Boston for various agency based brokerage firms. Brian started his professional career with Brown Brothers Harriman as a Client Account Manager in Boston.  Brian earned both a Masters of Science in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Boston College.  Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 1999.

Adam White — Senior Portfolio Trader

Adam’s responsibilities include equity trading, securities research, portfolio attribution analysis, reviewing investment operations controls as well as being a member of the asset allocation committee.

In 2001, Adam graduated from Bentley University (formerly Bentley College) earning his Bachelor degree in Economics and Finance. Prior to joining Beaumont, Adam ran the desk for Capital Analysts of New England, an independent wealth management firm, and then later as the Assistant Portfolio Manager and Operations Director to one of the firm's top managers.

Jeffrey T. Herman — Junior Portfolio Analyst and Trader

Jeff’s responsibilities include equity research, portfolio construction, allocation recommendations and equity trading. Jeff serves as a member of the asset allocation and investment committees.

Prior to joining Beaumont, Jeff performed operational audits of the trading desks at Fidelity Investments in Boston where he implemented controls to help ensure the trading desks were efficient with regards to trade allocation and price. He transitioned into equity trading for a Boston based hedge fund where he worked for 4 years before attending graduate school. While at grad school Jeff was a Department Assistant in the Trading Room, which included teaching classes on financial software applications (including Bloomberg and FactSet), and assisting students and faculty with financial research and modeling. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley University in 2005, a Masters of Science in Finance from Bentley University in 2011 and is a 2012 Level II CFA Candidate.
